Dear Friends,

This is your invitation to re-new your Casselton Ambulance membership or become a member if you currently are not one. The membership fee is $30 for the entire year. For this membership you or any member of your household receives 24 hour Emergency Ambulance Service by ground ambulance to any surrounding area hospital. When you become a member you agree to assign all insurance payments to the Ambulance Service and this will be considered as payment in full. The Casselton Ambulance is billed by the Paramedic Service and does pay them for their services if Advanced Life Support care was needed on the ambulance transport. This is included in your membership. We will respond to all 911 calls in out area even though you are not a member but you will be billed at the regular ambulance rate.

We also work with the area Medical Responders who normally arrive on the scene first and start initial patient care. We also work with Paramedic Advance Life Support Unit when advance life support care is needed. We remain in radio contact with hospital emergency departments while transporting patients. We also have support of out Rural Medical Director (Doctor), who is trained and certified in Emergency Medicine and all our Countywide E.M.S. instructors are E.M.T., E.M.T.I or Paramedic trained.

As we complete our 30th year of service we can't help but reflect on the people through the years who have made all of this possible. Without the people who take the training and shifts and without the large network of E.M.S. co-workers and supporters none of this would have been possible. The commitment to serve as an Emergency Service Provider is about caring for the people we serve. In turn when people show their support to our Service in may ways, including their moral and financial support we indeed feel fortunate. To all of these people we owe a debt of gratitude. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
